Program for Technical Advice on Tysabri (PATTY)

To avoid unnecessary risks for patients being treated with Tysabri, Stendhal has established a program for the Minimization of Risks that includes:

a.    Training for the prescribing physician to be well familiarized with the product, characteristics of those patients treated and benefiting from therapy, administration route, and keys for detecting possible adverse events.

b.    Training for personnel at infusion sites where Tysabri will be administered.

c.    Training for patients, family members and healthcare workers on the disease and its treatment, conducted by healthcare specialists through conferences and brochures.
d.    Intensive pharmacovigilance.
